Services
CreekView Landscape is a full-service outdoor construction company. Our services include paver patio and walkway installation, retaining wall construction, artificial turf installation, full landscaping (sod, planting, grading, drainage), custom landscape design, ongoing lawn care, outdoor lighting, and clean-up services.
We handle every phase of the project from initial design and planning through excavation, grading, hardscaping, planting, turf installation, outdoor lighting, and final cleanup. You deal with one team from start to finish — no juggling multiple subcontractors. This coordination keeps your project on schedule and on budget.
Artificial turf is an excellent choice for Oregon. It stays green year-round despite heavy rain and eliminates the mud problems that natural lawns develop from October through April. Modern turf products drain at 30+ inches per hour, have UV resistance, and last 15 to 20 years. It also eliminates mowing, watering, and fertilizing costs. Read our full comparison in Artificial Turf vs Natural Grass in Portland.
Interlocking concrete pavers with a minimum compressive strength of 8,000 PSI are the best overall choice for Oregon's rain and freeze-thaw cycles. They resist moisture absorption, discourage moss growth, and are available in a wide range of styles. Natural stone (flagstone, bluestone) and permeable pavers are also viable depending on your priorities. See our detailed guide: Best Pavers for Oregon Weather.
Estimates & Process
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation. We visit your property, take measurements, discuss your goals and material preferences, and provide a detailed written estimate within a few days. Estimates include a full breakdown of materials, labor, and timeline. Request your free estimate to get started.
Project costs depend on several factors: yard size, material selections (pavers, natural stone, artificial turf, etc.), site preparation requirements (grading, drainage, soil conditions), design complexity, and project scope. Oregon's clay soils and drainage challenges can also affect preparation needs. We provide a detailed, itemized estimate so you understand exactly what drives the investment for your specific property.
Yes. Every estimate is free, and there is no obligation. We visit your property, assess the site, discuss your goals, and deliver a detailed written estimate. Contact us to schedule your free consultation.
Yes, we typically require a deposit to secure your project date and order materials. The deposit amount varies by project size and is outlined in your detailed estimate. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and your satisfaction with the work. We discuss payment terms clearly during the estimate process so there are no surprises.
Process and Timeline
Project timelines vary by scope. A paver patio or retaining wall typically takes 3 to 7 days. A full backyard remodel with multiple features — turf, hardscaping, landscaping, and lighting — can take 2 to 4 weeks. We provide a timeline estimate during your free consultation so you know exactly what to expect.
Our process has four steps: (1) Free on-site consultation where we discuss your vision, take measurements, and learn about your property. (2) We deliver a detailed written estimate with materials, labor, and timeline. (3) Once approved, we schedule the work and begin construction — handling every phase from excavation through final cleanup. (4) We do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your expectations. Learn more on our about page.
Absolutely. Many of our clients phase their backyard remodels over time — for example, building the patio this year and adding retaining walls, turf, or lighting the following year. We design with future phases in mind so everything connects seamlessly. Our design process accounts for phased construction from the start.
Paver patios require minimal maintenance: an annual power wash to remove dirt and moss, and re-sanding joints with polymeric sand every 3 to 5 years. Retaining walls need periodic inspection of drainage outlets and occasional cleaning. We walk you through specific maintenance recommendations for your project materials during our final walkthrough. For ongoing care, our lawn care service can include hardscape maintenance.
